In 1917, Elsie Allen, wife of Kansas governor, Henry J Allen, commissioned Wright to design a home in Wichita, Kansas. Mr. Wright's use of a chevron motif in the dining room ceiling light, as well as in the art glass doors of the living room bookcases inspired this adaptation.

Model stitched on 28-count evenweave fabric across 2 threads. Stitched area: 6.5 x 6.75 inches. Framed size: 14.5 x 14.5 inches.
